The thing is - it looks "Colorized". The PhotoShop process is almost always detectable. Anybody can add green or red layers to a digital image - but, achieving "realism" requires a real artist who isn't letting their photo app do all the work. Clicking is not "Colorizing".

why does this not work for me. This is the 3rd tutorial I have copied step by step perfectly and the result is the same - the oil painting bares no resemblance to my original picture. And I have tried multiple pictures.

I'm new to photoshop beta and it really isn't playing ball.... I've followed the instruction exactly but it's still generating completely separate images relating to 'oil paintings'.
